Miami-Dade County is proud to partner with BrainStorm, Microsoft’s official Copilot Chat training provider, to bring you an engaging, easy-to-use learning platform. This resource is designed to help our workforce get the most out of Copilot Chat: saving time, boosting productivity and making your everyday work more efficient.

InnovateUS Training Partnership 
Through our partnership with InnovateUS, the County will provide comprehensive AI training programs designed specifically for public sector employees. The curriculum focuses on: 

• Practical applications of AI in government operations 
• Best practices for responsible AI use in public service 
• Ethics and compliance considerations when implementing AI solutions 

Training sessions will be available both online and in-person, with regular workshops scheduled throughout the year. Employees can start their AI journey by visiting the Miami-Dade County InnovateUS portal. 

Miami Dade College 
Through our partnership with Miami Dade College, we offer specialized AI training programs tailored for both executive leadership and general workforce development:

• Executive Leadership Training: Focused on AI strategy, governance, and organizational transformation 
• Workforce Development Programs: Hands-on technical training in AI tools and applications 
• Industry Certification Preparation: Support for professional AI certifications 

The program includes both online and in-person components, with regular workshops held at MDC's various campuses. 

Internships & Capstones 
Miami-Dade County’s ITD internship program provides hands-on experience for students interested in technology and innovation, with a special focus on artificial intelligence applications in government. Through partnerships with local universities, we offer: 

• Semester-long paid internships where students work directly with our AI implementation teams 
• Capstone project opportunities for senior students to develop AI solutions for real County challenges 
• Collaborative research projects focusing on emerging AI technologies and their public sector applications 

We actively partner with local institutions, including Miami Dade College, Florida International University, and University of Miami, to create meaningful learning experiences while advancing the County's AI initiatives. Students gain valuable public sector experience while helping us innovate and improve service delivery.
