The Office of Protocol prepares appropriate official awards and documents for formal presentations encompassing a vast assortment of functions of local, national and international consequence. These documents can only be requested through the Mayor, Chairperson or County Commissioner’s office directly.
The decision to issue any special recognition is reserved for the Mayor and Miami-Dade County Commissioners. It is an acknowledgement given to the efforts and commitment of individuals and organizations within the County who enhance our community.

Make a Nomination
Contact the Miami-Dade County Mayor's Office or the office of your County Commissioner to nominate someone to receive special recognition by the Mayor or Board of County Commissioners.
