Apply to be come an Elections Support Specialist Information Systems
- Responsible for the support of all Election voting systems including the EViD, DS200, ExpressVote machines and Ballot on Demand (BOD) printers
- Required to troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and resolve hardware or software issues, maintain consumables levels and additional support as required which may also include documentation of procedures and creating relevant reports
Apply to become an Elections Trainer
- Should be tech savvy with an education or training background preferred
- Must be comfortable with public speaking and training individuals from different backgrounds on polling/election procedures
- Must have a valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record (No violations or points in the last 3 years)
- Bilingual Haitian Creole or Spanish is a plus
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs or as needed
Apply to become an Elections Support Specialist
- Provide Election Department support to all precincts located throughout Miami-Dade County
- Will be assigned a specific number of precincts which are further allocated to a specific Collection Center
- Function as a resource at the precinct to assist the Elections Specialist (ES) and the Election Board member
- Must have valid Florida Driver s License (No violations or points in the last 3 years)
- Must pass background screening
- Be proficient in English and able to effectively articulate ideas verbally and in writing to diverse categories of people
- Must be proficient in the use current technology (ex. Smartphone, tablet, etc.)
