Mediation Programs
Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process that helps parties negotiate mutually acceptable agreements to disputes. Informal and flexible, the mediation process can yield faster and less contentious results than traditional investigations.
The Division of Human Rights and Fair Employment offers mediation as a means of resolving human rights complaints and county employee disputes. Learn more about these programs:
- Employee Mediation Program – The Let's Work Together mediation program is designed to help county employees and supervisors resolve disputes and improve working relationships
- Human Rights Mediation/Conciliation Program – This mediation program helps Miami-Dade County residents resolve a variety of human rights disputes, including harassment and unfair employment practices claims
