State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) Program

The State Housing Initiatives Partnership program (SHIP) provides funds to local governments as an incentive to create partnerships that produce and preserve affordable homeownership and multifamily housing. The program was designed to serve very low, low and moderate income families.

Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) requires homebuyers who are interested in receiving SHIP funding to attend Homebuyer Education and Counseling (HBEC). The following list includes agencies that recently received funding from the Miami-Dade County Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) to conduct free Homebuyer Education and Counseling Services for income-eligible homebuyers in Miami-Dade County.
