• Inspections must be scheduled the day prior to the inspection before 4:00 p.m.
• Inspections may be cancelled if re-inspection fees are due from prior inspections.

If the inspector has to verify for additional categories on your permit which may not be required or not pulled (i.e. 0032, 0004, 0043); schedule inspection as a Category Verification.  Please make a note in the provided comment box which category needs verification for removal.

Simplified Permitting Process:

• Inspections must be requested online before 4:00 p.m.
• Inspections will be scheduled within 3 business days of the online request per F.S. 553.7932(4).

For fire alarm inspection requests, an approved electrical rough inspection is required prior to scheduling a fire inspection.
Project plans and specifications are to be made available to the inspector at each inspection, and when applicable to the installation or replacement of an equivalent fire sprinkler system component, the manufacturer’s installation and pertinent testing instructions needed to certify or accept the component are also to be made available per F.S. 553.7932(5).
If the fire inspector determines additional documents are required for recording purposes, the contractor must provide such documentation—along with the project plans and specifications—in electronic form within 4 business days after the inspection per F.S. 553.7932(5).
